Less than an hour by car and accessible using public transport is Chester - a "must see" for visitors to Wirral. After a day out in this fascinating City, why not stop off at Parkgate? Overlooking the Dee Estuary and the hills of North Wales, this the old Roman port offers an opportunity to take in the views while enjoying the local potted shrimps, followed by some famous Parkgate ice cream. The Parkgate fish & chips come highly recommended!
